The place is very beautiful. At sunset, admiring the river and the setting sun will leave you with a pleasant experience! Insanely beautiful photos can be taken on the rock. The place is popular with romantics. Unfortunately, there is irrefutable evidence for him in the form of food leftovers and contraceptives, but this is not a question for the rock, but for the pigs who do not clean up after themselves

Rock-register (or "granite benchmark") - outcrops of gray rocks of the Ukrainian crystalline shield about 3 billion years old. Repeatedly mentioned in the texts: J. Romm - "Travel to the Crimea" 1786, K. Storchakov and G. Rosenthal - "Address book of Kremenchug for 1875", V. Buchnevich "Kremenchug and Posad Kryukov" 1891 The flood marks of 1787, 1789, 1820, 1842, 1845, 1877, 1888, 1896, 1915, 1942 are carved on the rock. In the 50s, most of the rock was covered with construction waste and coal slag to provide an access to the nearby boat station of the Dormash plant. In 1970, according to the decision of the executive committee of the Poltava Regional Council, the "Rock-Register" object was given the status of "a monument to the nature of the city value", but all the same, snow from city streets was taken to the rock for a long time along with chemistry that was used for sprinkling and garbage, washed cars in the summer. The first bronze memorial plaque appeared only in the mid-80s, but in the 90s it was safely stolen. In 2003, the rock was cleared. In 2004, planned and began to improve the rock, but never finished. Today there is a plaque at the memo and, of course, there is a "modern rock painting".

A very nice place to sit and relax while looking at historical sites and, of course, the Dnieper River, is a park nearby.
