We took a one-day excursion around Poltava and nearby places. Yuri is an excellent guide and enthusiast of his craft, in love with his city and revealed it to us from the most interesting sides. I would also like to note the competent organization of the "turnkey" excursion, taking into account all requests and wishes, punctuality in all moments and, undoubtedly, an excellent sense of humor! The bride and I liked everything so much that in the foreseeable future we will definitely visit Poltava again - to see Dykanka, Opishnya and the Museum of Vesilia =) Thank you very much!!!

I must say that we were always lucky with the guides. We have always met professionals in their field, people who love, know and live by their work and their country. Thanks to COVID-19 and road repair, if I may say so, we began to travel around Ukraine and realized that we have a lot of places where our feet have never gone before and that we do not know our Motherland at all, and it is amazing! From 10 to 15 August 2020, we got acquainted with the beautiful Poltava region and the city of Poltava. We are in Poltava for the first time and I think it will not be the last time. To our shame, they knew practically nothing about this magnificent city, city and region with a rich history, amazing nature, kind and sympathetic people. We decided to transfer the organization of our vacation in Poltava to Yuri. Our only condition was: "We have 4 full days, and we ask you, Yuri, to take all these days and in return introduce us to Poltava and its environs, showing them with your eyes." And we were not wrong. Yuri is in love with his city and its history, with his business, he is a great specialist and an interesting person. I do not want and will not describe our excursions and trips. You can endlessly write about this, talk and show photos, but this will be our personal view of Poltava and its history. But every tourist should discover his own Poltava for himself! And we did it. We discovered for ourselves kind, hospitable, polite, tolerant Poltava citizens who love their land, take care of it and make it more beautiful. We saw a rich story and a desire to tell our guests about it. We learned a lot of new things: about the life and work of N.V. Gogol; about the life and struggle of S.V. Petliura, about the Battle of Poltava, visited: with. Gogolevo and the Museum-Estate of Gogol N.V., p. Dykanka and its attractions, the National Museum of Ukrainian Pottery in the village. Oppression and more. For this pleasure, ask Yuri to organize you not one excursion, but a whole individual tour. And believe me, there is no need to waste time on shopping, not because there is nothing to buy in Poltava, but because Poltava is so beautiful that you will have little time to get to know it. P.S.
