Museum of the History of Jews in Odesa "Migdal-Shorashim"

May be hidden in a small yard a bit outside the city center, but is a place worthwhile visiting. A lot of information (great guide Vladimir Chaplin) plus the cosy atmosphere of an apartment turned into a museum.

A little hard to find, but it's very interesting and the most interesting part was to listen to our Jewish guide. He explained a lot of details. Highly recommend, as I said, hard to find :)

Brief but worthwhile little museum in former communal flat. The walls are covered in personal belongings, ephemera, and many other objects connected with Odessa's longstanding Jewish community. It lacks any kind of written narrative linking the many objects but the gentleman guide offers a kind of spoken overview.

Small but very interesting museum that not much people reach to visit. A must place to visit for all the jews from former USSR. Guided tour was amazing !!!!

Perfectly english speaking and helpful guide plus english translations for all exhibition elements, small and cozy yet very informative.
