The ticket price for an adult is 70 UAH. Previous opuses and negative reviews of visitors about “expensive” and “boring”, “little” and “uninteresting”. Dear visitors! Don't forget that the Sculpture Park belongs to the Literary Museum! This is an art park, when each sculpture is associated with some literary work, event; flight of thought, when you do not just contemplate the beauty of the sculpture, and take a selfie or photo, but read your own unique associations and try to feel the author's unique intention. This park will not be of interest to those who have read little of fiction. For those who do not know who Zhvanetsky is. What are “12 chairs”, “Golden Calf”, “Master and Margarita”, .... who are their authors. Who is not familiar with Odessa songs and flavor! However, for people who are used not only to google, and have not yet forgotten the charm of rustling the pages of books, this is a heavenly place! You will discover a lot of new things, look at the familiar from the outside! And if you notice photo sketches on the walls, see every little thing, then you will think about a lot! I captured a couple of photographs of old buildings to see if they have survived to our times, to study their history, the history of our beloved Odessa. Unique, as for me, sculptures: - “Museum rats”: those selfless and committed workers of culture and art who cherish the heritage of centuries! The Museum Brotherhood monument was opened in the Odessa courtyard of the Literary Museum as part of the Humorina on April 1, 2014. The sculpture depicts three rats holding a large pyramid in their paws. The authors of the composition, Oleg Chernoivanov and Leonid Liptuga, dedicated a monument to the museum workers, who, with low wages, remain faithful to their work. The Museum Brotherhood was the last, 17th work, which entered the Odessa Sculpture Garden. It was created for 30 years with sponsorship money. - "Odessa-Mama": Odessa-Mama stands on three whales - medicine, art and trade, holding in her arms her children - the founders of the city: Deribas, Devolan, Langeron, Richelieu, Vorontsov. What do you think, are there any “whales” of medicine and art, or Odessa is dying, turning into a bazaar trader? And, perhaps, art, only contemporary, is developing? And what happened to medicine? You're happy? - "Monument to the Coming Genius": The monument to the coming genius is a composition in the form of three eagles, personifying the wonderful writers who glorified Odessa - Gogol, Pushkin and Babel, looking impatiently at the egg, waiting for a new literary genius to appear. The writers, depicted as birds with a human head, are easily recognizable due to their well-known distinctive features, such as a top hat on Pushkin's head, glasses on Babel's nose, and Gogol's characteristic profile. The idea of the monument belongs to Leonid Lipuga, and the talented Odessa poet and sculptor Nikolai Stepanov brought the idea to life. This sculpture appeared in Odessa not so long ago - in 1996, but some traditions are already associated with it. So, among local residents, the monument to the coming Odessa genius is considered a symbol of good luck. In the student environment, there is an opinion that if you rub the golden egg before the exam, it will do without a retake. - "Monument to the Odessa reader": humorously copies the monument to the founders of Odessa, once destroyed by the Bolsheviks. Author Oleg Chernoivanov depicted Empress Catherine II reading a Russian-Ukrainian phrasebook. The creator of the city plan, Franz de Volan, is absorbed in studying the "Guide to Odessa", probably in order to compare his project with reality. Deribas enjoys the works of Mikhail Zhvanetsky, Grigory Potemkin holds Isaac Babel's Cavalry, Platon Zubov has a wonderful novel by Ilf and Petrov, The Twelve Chairs. This sculptural composition is a kind of personification of all reading Odessa! By the way, this mini-copy of the famous monument appeared even before the revival of the monument on Catherine Square. If you are eager to learn more about your Odessa, plunge into old historical essays, humorously and literally look at the familiar, you are here!

Art in Odessa is inexhaustible. This can be seen by visiting the Literary Museum and the Sculpture Park, which surrounds it. If you want to feel the culture of Odessa citizens, this place will bring you much closer to your goal. Each sculpture was created by a talented author, reflects the history of certain events or has a literary basis. For example, the works "Time of Great Expectations", "Golden Heart" and "Silver Age" by Oleg Chernoivanov.
