So, nevertheless, it is worth marking the place with a flag, after all, all the same, somehow sideways, but pass by. But how proud it sounds, I visited the Secret Yard. In general, in fact, all the courtyards are unique and attractive, you don't know what you will find inside, maybe a mural, or maybe one of the cute Odessa cats. So go ahead to unknown places.

I enjoyed watching the television series "Liquidation" with Mashkov in the title role. While in Odessa, I decided to go through the filming locations. If they refuse to pass, treat with understanding, since the territory of the house is still private property. For a long time, access to the unique courtyard was open to all comers, but still the patience of the residents is not endless. During the day, several dozen (!) Tourist groups and many single guests passed through the courtyard, after which mountains of garbage remained. And also the courtyard was chosen by mortgagers and children from neighboring schools and vocational schools chose as a smoking room. Personally, would you like something like this in your home? And another moment: can you imagine what a magnificent echo in this courtyard-well? Now imagine that from early morning until late at night dozens of people are chattering in the courtyard, and in the evening they are replaced by marginal youth from all over the area, since, I remind you, this was the only open courtyard for several blocks! It is very good to sleep with drunken screams. Therefore, for closed access to the interior of a unique piece of architecture, everyone can thank their not very cultured fellow citizens and guests of the city. Outside, the house is still beautiful and accessible, the fence and repairs are being carried out at the neighboring house.

Yes, they write that the series "Liquidation" was filmed here, that some unique and beautiful house / yard. Frankly? I didn't really like it. I would not recommend coming here on purpose. Will waste time. In fact, there is nothing to watch here. You can spend up to 5 minutes here. Maybe they tell and show more on excursions? But with an independent study - it is. This is a well yard. Many windows overlook the courtyard. And you can only sympathize with the tenants. They are, in fact, their whole life without light and sun and look at each other through the windows 😨 We got there freely. The gate was open. The lock is a button, not an intercom. The house was progressive for its time: large apartments, comfortable layout, elegant red brick decorations in the neo-Gothic and Romanesque styles. Today this place is a vivid example of the attitude of modern city residents to architecture. The current residents do not particularly care about such a masterpiece of architecture, so hurry up to see it before time finally destroyed its former beauty.
