A historical but abandoned place - the Skszynski-Czartoryski Palace (Zhuravno) - an architectural monument located in the town of Zhuravno in the south of Zhydachiv district of Lviv region between the Dniester and Svich rivers. Built in the late XVIII century. Adam Zhebrowski. The plan of the palace looked like a horseshoe with two symmetrically arranged wings. The main facade was decorated with a portico, and there was a large balcony with columns of the Tuscan order. On the territory of the palace complex there was a winter garden and a gazebo framed by an iron balustrade. A landscape park was laid around the palace. This palace burned down in 1904 and was no longer rebuilt. When the old palace burned down in 1904, the owner of Zhuravno, Anthony Skshinsky, built a new Neo-Renaissance palace with elements of Empire and Secession a hundred meters away, designed by Lviv architect Professor Vladyslav Sadlovsky. Its facade is decorated with stucco: allegories on military themes, mascarons of knights, coat of arms, etc. In the 1930s, the palace was restored by its last owners, Helena Skszynska and Kazimir Czartoryski, and expanded it somewhat.

Shame. In a couple of years it will fall apart with the devils, it would be better to think now what to do with it, because there will be no historical monuments in Zhuravna soon.

Crane - a typical Galician town that has "its" palace. It is a former landlord's residence, built at the turn of the XIX and XX centuries on the banks of the picturesque Dniester. The palace now stands vacant, but after the facade and park's cosmetic restoration, it could become one of the best photographic zones in the region. There is now a tuberculosis hospital here, but the staff is courteously admitting the few tourists. The descendants of the owners of the palace sometimes visit their former residence.

The palace is located on the territory of a tuberculosis prevention center for children (Ministry of Health of Ukraine), where the entrance is not always open

It is a pity that everything is so bad in our country with the sights left behind by us. Ukrainians do not value their heritage, their history. And in 1981, my sister and I rested there and studied.
