Exhibition of minerals. For the uninitiated visitor, just a lot of different and colorful stones. There are two options: either ask someone from the department to pay attention to you, or "Google" on the Internet. And yes, very interesting and informative. Free admission.

Incredibly beautiful exhibits, very grateful to have had an interesting and meaningful excursion and explained everything You do not have to be a chemist or biologist to enjoy and learn and understand new things

There are some of the oldest museums in Lviv University, visited by almost all local students and students. The first place I visited was the Mineralogical Museum of Lviv National University. He was founded in 1852-53 as Professor of Natural History, a botanist, and Hyacinth Lobazhevsky. It is located too densely, and this is also interesting. The museum exposition is quite large and has more than 14 000 samples of minerals from geological formations of Ukraine, as well as European states. Asia, America, Africa, Australia. For comparison, the same collection in the Viennese museum is ten times larger, but there you can look at these magic stones all day. There are also unique exhibits of minerals in Transbaikalia, Volhynia, Urals and Central Asia, as well as new minerals discovered during the last decades, and rare minerals or their abandonments that were discovered on the territory of Ukraine. Now the museum is not only a base for the educational process and research, but is also widely used to promote geological and mineralogical knowledge. So, I recommend, come! The unique atmosphere and architecture of the old university walls, student spirit and freedom of view will also capture you!

Very informative museum. Suppose I saw several thousand stones, about which I know nothing, it was interesting for me to spend almost three hours there. It is a pity that this museum is not very popular, even if it is free!

A wonderful, interesting museum where you can see minerals, stones, gold bullion and even fragments of meteorites!
