If you're interested in some of ukrainians most famous writers and scholars this is the place for you. They also have an incredible old library inside the museum.

If you are fully proficient in Ukrainian this might be worth a visit. However, there is very little English explanation of what you are seeing and its significance. There are some statues as well but the babushkas who work there will give you a thorough scolding in Ukrainian if you take photos. Kyiv has many museums worth visiting, but for foreigners, this is not one of them.
