It's okay but a very depressing environment. The building itself feels run down (e.g. lots of dark, dusty spaces, one toilet for staff and customers) and the art isn't very diverse. Many middle aged women monitoring what customers do. Kiev has so many beautiful buildings and art galleries but unfortunately this isn't one of them

Quiet vast collection of Russian paintings beginning with 15-16 ct. icons up to early 20 ct. Though exhibition halls need some renovation and the lighting is to be improved, a must-see for a person familiar with art.
