The city needs such monuments with meaning. The inscription on the monument: "Intellectuals vikhovuє syogodennya". 4 monuments in the square of the Kiev intelligentsia⬇️⬇️⬇️ The raven symbolizes wisdom - an integral quality of intellectuals. An owl is the embodiment of the mind, a symbol of the scientific intelligentsia, whose representatives are also in Kiev. The kingfisher, according to the author, is a modest bird that constantly hides its head under its wing. The capital's intellectuals also have this character trait. Sparrow is the last of the sculptures to close the series. This bird is a rebel. He has just freed himself - he is standing on a cage with rods torn from the inside. One of its wings is down. According to the author himself, Sparrow symbolizes a revolutionary intellectual. The author of the park is the famous Kiev sculptor Konstantin Skritutsky. He owns the ideas of the Landscape Alley with huge smiling cats and characters from favorite fairy tales, the Cat from the Forks, the Ballerina, the Hedgehog in the Fog and many other capital art objects.
