Traveling around the country and admiring the grandeur of the giant flags of other countries, I really wanted us to have something similar. Now this beauty adorns the view of the Kiev hills, perfectly combined with the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra (symbol of Russia) and the Motherland (symbol of the Soviet past), shifting the emphasis somewhere in the middle (on independence). The flag adds an element of modernity to the hills, which makes the composition whole, emphasizing that this land ..., this different and sometimes difficult history was, is, and will be about us - Ukrainians. The project was financed, by the way, at the expense of patronage. So, "it would be better to pastoli road" not here. P.S. With such a neighborhood, a sickle and a hammer, along with the churches of the Moscow Patriarchate are not so toxic)

One of those moments when I was proud of something native and modern. The flag looks great 24/7! Majestic and so significant. This is another curiosity of the memorial complex
