The first tram is the Kropyvnytskyi Tram Monument - an electric tram system operating in the city of Kropyvnytskyi. The regular movement of electric tram cars began on July 13, 1897. The total length of all lines of the Elisavetgrad tram was 9.7 km. In 1901 there were 22 motor and 3 trailer cars in the depot, which by that time had already carried 2045,8 thousand passengers. The monument to the Elisavetgrad Tram appeared in the city in 1997. The opening of the sculpture is timed to the 100th anniversary of the first tramway in Yelisavetgrad. Today, the memorial sculpture is an unusual monument in the green square at the corner of Dvortsova Street and Shulgin Street. The sculpture in the form of an arch with a stylized depiction of a tram car in the middle was created by sculptors V. Franchko and A. Matsievsky ...
