This music school is located in a building otherwise known as the Blazhkov House. Blazhkov was Kherson mayor from 1909 to 1917 and was executed after the arrest of the Cheka. The house was designed by Paul Klein - Odessa architect of German origin, who developed the so-called "brick style". The Blazhkov family lived in the house, and part of the premises was rented by foreign consuls, shipping agencies and artists.

The choir teacher puts a lot of stress on the kids and makes fun of them in class if they can't get the high notes. Not pedagogical !!!!

The building was built in the historic style, in the center of Kherson. The facade has a good look.
