Good idea to create programmer's monument :)

The guy came to come to the builder in KPI, and it turns out that they have long since abandoned it ... sat down to rest and think, but not to go to this institution ... what is the difference where ... I still do not plan to work in a specialty. The university is not known in comparison with KPI, but they also give a diploma of higher education ...

An original sculpture near which you can sit on a bench. Around the flowerbeds and benches in the university courtyard.

Another generalized, "typical" monument that has appeared in abundance in Kharkov in recent years is a monument to a student-programmer. It is located where most of the Kharkov students-programmers meet - at the entrance of the Kharkov National University of Radio Electronics. The student looks the way a young programmer should look. He is thoughtful and looks up somewhere, dressed in youth fashion, on his lap he has an open laptop with a smiley face on the touchpad. On the bag lying at his feet, the logo of the university. The composition (as well as another university monument - "The First Teacher") is made of bronze in life size. You can sit next to the student and take a photo. And before the session, students rub the toe of their bronze comrade's shoes for good luck. The monument was opened in October 2010, to the 80th anniversary of the University of Radio Electronics, the author of the sculpture is Roman Blazhko, who modestly acted as the prototype of the character. The monument is popular not only in the real life of Kharkiv, but also on the Internet; on behalf of him, they even start accounts on social networks. Interestingly, the installation of the monument did not require support from the state or local authorities; all funds for it came from private sources.
