A picturesque place in our region. One of the favorite vacation spots, especially on holidays and weekends, both for the residents of Sholokhovo and Bazavluk, and for Pokrov. People come here on vacation even from Nikopol. Why here？ Unlike the 8th structure on the Dnieper, there is pure water, sheer cliffs, a picturesque bed of the Bazavluk river below the dam, clean air. After all, as far as I know, there are no metallurgical, chemical and other large enterprises upstream of the Bazavluk River that would pollute the water. On the bank of the side with. Sholokhovo there is a refined recreation center from the Pokrovsky GOK （motor transport department） - well-groomed lawns, beaches, there are houses for the night, barbecues （except firewood） for barbecue. For newcomers, entry is paid （somewhere around 30 UAH per person and seemingly 50 per car）, and for workers of the plant - free of charge. You can see the conditions and conditions in my photos. To the east of the base, the places are not suitable for rest - there are herds of cows grazing there, and therefore, as you know, there are a lot of dung and flies, and there are practically no trees there. In general, I recommend visiting this place, and from here it is a stone's throw to the pearls of our land - Tokovsky canyon and Tokovsky waterfall on the Kamenka river.
