Came around 3pm and it was closed. The guy at the checkpoint simply shrugged and said "well, it means it's closed." Already in the reviews they saw a recommendation for an appointment. But even if so, it would not help us - it is very difficult to plan our schedule when I arrived in an unfamiliar city for one day .. We were disappointed, because of the three museums that we chose, we could not visit any ..

There are some exhibits that allowed to climb near the equipment. The baby was pleased.

I advise you to call the photo in advance and arrange a tour. Admission and excursion are free. The museum was created by the staff of the SESU and currently has 3 exhibition halls. 1 is devoted to the history of the fire service in Bukovina. There are sample designs, some artifacts, fire helmets of different periods, a hand pump model and documents. The second hall is dedicated to the participation of employees in anti-terrorist operation and other measures for the disposal of explosive objects (for example, more than 5 thousand hand-grenades found in Chernivtsi) and in rescue operations during floods in Bukovina. The third hall is dedicated to the memory of firefighters from Chkrnivtsi who participated in the Chernobyl disaster relief. The tour was very interesting and lasted about 45 minutes. I highly recommend visiting.
