From the river take the underground passage. On the top of the stairs you will have a wonderful panorama.

The monument itself is already beautiful, but it's​ also located at a spot that offers wonderful view of Dnipro river. Just sit on a bench nearby and enjoy it :)

One of the interesting and old monuments of Kiev. According to legend, in this place Prince Vladimir baptized the people of Kiev in 988. Here a stream flowed into the Dnieper, flowing along the bottom of the ravine, which was later called Khreshchaty. Today we know him as Khreshchatyk. This is the main street of Kyiv.
