The Grotto of Thetis (Tethys, Venus) of the Sofiyivka National Dendrological Park is located below the Upper Pond near the round pavilion "Pheasant". The grotto has a lobby consisting of four columns. They support a granite slab and a semicircular window. In the middle of the grotto composition, between the second and third columns, you can see the statue of Venus, therefore the grotto is also called the second name - Venus! At the time of my visit, the grotto was closed. The sculpture of Venus de Medici was last restored in 1952. And the stream of water and water lilies are mesmerizing.
