One of the oldest baroque buildings in the city. It is an important architectural and religious building.

Church of St. Florian Shargorod is a functioning Catholic church of the Kamyanets-Podilsky diocese of the Roman Catholic Church in Ukraine in Shargorod, Vinnytsia region. Monument of architecture and urban planning of national importance. The basilica was built in 1595 at the expense of the Polish magnate Jan Zamojski, Grand Chancellor of the Crown and consecrated in honor of St. Florian - the patron saint of his family. Shargorod is named after Florian Shary. In one year a fortress was built in the city with the church. The church was severely damaged during the Khmelnytsky region in 1648, was rebuilt in 1717 with minor architectural alterations, then again in 1899. The temple was closed only for a short time in the 30s of the twentieth century. at the height of the Bolsheviks' persecution of religion. In 1937, 300 parishioners with priest Maximilian Turovsky were shot during the repressions. A memorial plaque erected in the church reminds of this event. The building is built of brick sandstone and stone in the Baroque style. The plan is a three-nave four-foot basilica. The main facade is topped by a baroque pediment. The main entrance is designed as a three-span arch, also decorated with a Baroque pediment. In the courtyard there is a fountain with sculptures in the folk style. The temple is surrounded by a fence with an arch above the gate with exquisite sculpture of St. Florian in a niche. Interior In the sacristy (difference) there is an ancient portrait of the founder Jan Zamoyski with the indicated dates of life and the inscription: "Jan Siriusz Zamojski, senior military leader and chancellor of the Crown, founder of the Shargorod community in 1585". In 1905, 14 high-relief compositions of the 19th century, brought from Poland, made of tinted alabaster, depicting the Savior's Way of the Cross, were installed on pylons and side naves; crucifixion of Italian masters in the main altar, two wooden polychrome sculptures and a carved pulpit of the XVIII century. On the vaults and walls of the eastern part there is an ornamental painting made in 1895–1899 by the artist A. Tenchynsky in the grotesque style and cleared in 1963. There is a fragment of an organ left on the choirs - a windlade, on which several registers of trumpets have been preserved, somewhat capable of imitating a real organ.
