The second caponier is the main part of the museum of the Kiev fortress. It is located south of the oblique caponier and the wall of the executed Poles. The tower can be seen in Zelensky's film "Rzhevsky vs. Napoleon". Inside are exhibits associated with the fortress itself and the Napoleonic Wars (specifically with the Patriotic War of 1812, the Battle of Waterloo, etc.). There are large ravines on the street, from one you can see the Olympic Stadium.

Second exposure - Second caponer. Fortification History Museum (the first exhibit is an oblique caponer). The exposition was opened in 2002 after the reconstruction of the museum. In the exposition models of Kiev fortifications from the time of Kievan Rus to the end of the XIX century. In my opinion, the unique exhibits are the following: materials of excavations of the Tripoli culture, the Scythian era, the key to the northern gate of the hospital fortification of the Kiev fortress, reconstruction of the medieval warrior's equipment (15th c.) And real uniforms, weapons, charts, etc. Special thanks to the Dmitry Museum employee for the interesting excursion.
