A great place for the flag of Ukraine, it can be seen from a very large number of places in the city, especially since a well-groomed and beautiful alley with benches was made around it, where you can relax or just spend some time, as well as get acquainted with information about the city at the stands, some here write that this is senseless patriotism and it would be better to buy trams, well then let them tell the Americans or Canadians. Trams appear exactly where there is patriotism to their city and country, and not from rummaging why they put the flag of the country in which patriotism lives and not because someone writes that he is meaningless, where there is no patriotism, there are new trams too no
The highest flag of Ukraine, until the opening of the flag in Kiev, in August 2020. A very good point was chosen for installation: the flag is clearly visible from different locations of the city
The height of the flagpole installation point above the Dnieper is 75 meters. Flagpole 72 meters.
The installation process took two days. This was announced on facebook by Advisor to the Chairman of DniproOGA Yuri Golik.
According to him, the flag will become the third, but not the last, element of the patriotic program, within the framework of which the Museum of Civil Feat (ATO Museum) was created in the Dnieper and the Heroes Alley opened. In parallel, DniproOGA plans to put in order the surrounding park.
Yuri Golik also wrote that in the process of setting the flag, representatives of Kramatorsk and Mariupol called with a question how to do this with them.
A pointless waste of money on pseudo-patriotism. It would be better to buy several new trams with this money, because the city's public "transport" is simply painful to look at.
The height of the flagpole is 72 meters, the flag is 12x18 meters.
