I stumbled upon this location on the Internet. I was surprised that she is close enough to us and we haven’t been there yet, and therefore there were no long fees. We arrived there on Monday at 14 o'clock. By the way, the road turned out to be 90% excellent and I think that in the very near future there will be a completely new one, as repair work is underway. We drove along the E95 and then turned towards Cherkassy near Uman. The castle itself is located in a very beautiful place around a lot of greenery and three hundred year old oaks. An asphalt road leads to it, so there will be no problems with access and parking. The territory of the palace is fenced off and guarded, but the guards (I can't even call them that), excellent friendly guys will lead a tour and even offer magnets for memory. The excursion is free, but we made a small donation for the needs of the guys who are trying on their own to restore what the "restorers" did when the castle was included in the "Cherkasy's golden horseshoe" program. By the way, they made an impromptu cinema in one of the halls of the palace and they watch horror films there, which is damn interesting. I will not tell the history of the castle and describe its beauty, but the place is really worth a visit !!!

In fact, I don't know how to properly assess this place ... The potential is huge, there is a forest around, near a river ... The history of the castle is no less striking than its current state :-( But now it is more likely abandoned ruins, a short excursion through which you will be kindly guided by a security guard.

Beautiful historic building located in a local park. The house is abandoned, emergency, but it is visible that works are conducted. It wasn't possible to get to the middle. They looked out the windows, something is being repaired inside and that's good. It is a pity to lose such an interesting palace. Around the palace are very old, age-old oaks. It is clear that the oaks are cared for. In general, the park around the palace is very neglected. I will write about the road separately. We went to Talny from the Butsky canyon through Ivanky and further through Romanivka. From Ivankiv to Talny there is a very ancient cobblestone, there are places where rubble is poured and compacted, there are areas that probably do not pass in rainy weather. There are giant pits that look like round lakes, one of which takes up more bands in diameter. There seems to be no short alternative to this road, but it is difficult to call it a road. The only bonus is the village of Romanivka, a nice asphalt road through the whole village (thanks to the local community), but the village is terrified again, all the way to Talny. We drove back from Talny to Uman. The vast majority of the paved road is awful, with huge ridges, waves and asphalt pits everywhere that have been squeezed out by overloaded trucks. Good asphalt only at the entrance to Uman. And the village of Dobrovody was happy - it's just incredibly nice to go through this village, everything is very neat, the road is perfect, the bridge across the river is flat, a wonderful community, we thank them.

It's interesting to walk. But there is nothing to do here especially for a long time. Special thanks to the young man who guards the building, knows and sincerely loves the history of these places. Recommend asking for a guided tour.
