The museum has its own specifics, but I am sure that both a child and an adult will definitely like it here. Were in the winter of 2021. Not many people. You can walk around the museum both independently and with a guide (more expensive). But the guide will tell you a lot about every seemingly trifle, but it’s interesting, you’ll just see it yourself and don’t know the intricacies. The life of villagers from different time periods is impressive. The old technique is a little worn out, but there is something to see. The cafes were all closed, I think it's more fun here in the summer. We had a pleasant time for about an hour. Good luck.

An interesting museum, it is a pity that 90% of the exhibits are in disrepair

I liked the museum a lot. Very nice countryside, great views. There are many exhibits and all are interesting. Liked it, I recommend.

The village of Kolochava has had its own railway since the summer of 2009. The only museum in the history of the railway "Kolochava Narrow Gauge Railway" operates here. The museum consists of a rare locomotive and an echelon of ten cars. Each car reproduces the process of transportation under different authorities that prevailed in the region. There are three Czech passenger cars, a Soviet freight car, a Hungarian cattle car and a water barrel, and, of course, timber and sidecar carts. Each museum car presents unique exhibits that tell about the history of narrow-gauge railways in Transcarpathia, the work and life of railway workers and their passengers. The main pride of the museum, the heart of the echelon - a unique operating locomotive - a beautiful, powerful and environmentally friendly transport. Made in Germany in 1951, the steam locomotive operated until 1973, then was stored in a locomotive depot in the village of Khmilnyk in the Beregiv region, and only a miracle saved it from being scrapped.
