It is one of the monuments in Kyiv that highlights the main churhces and cathedrals, restored or built at the expense of Hetman Ivan Mazepa. Therefore, the sculptural composition can be considered a monument to the hetman's patronage activity. The monument has a shape of a ball, framed with reliefs depicting the churches and cathedrals of Ukraine, over which there is a flying dove, a symbol of peace in the whole world. The sculptural composition is made of bronze on a granite pedestal and can be rotated.

The monument is located near the Park of Eternal Glory. Very beautiful, thoughtful, shows the greatest places of Kiev. Around the greenery, clean paths, incredibly beautiful landscape.

The monument "Eternal Kiev" by the Israeli sculptor Frank Meisler is a flying dove mounted on a ball, which is framed by the relief of cathedrals and churches built with the money of Hetman Mazepa. Two parts of the dove, interconnected, symbolize the unity of the Right-Bank and Left-Bank of Ukraine. The composition is mounted on a pedestal and rotates around its axis. The height of the monument is 4 m, the sculpture itself is made of bronze, the pedestal is made of granite, it was opened on January 19, 2009.
