Very special museum.

An extraordinary place! It is a pity that the creator of this museum, Roman Kumlyk, was not found. He passed away 7 years ago. He was an extremely capable musician, a virtuoso violinist, he could play 34 musical instruments - just incredible! His band was called "Cheremosh", with which he toured the world and sowed Hutsul culture, which is, in my opinion, the true heart of Ukraine. His wife gave us a surprisingly interesting tour of the museum and I am very, very grateful to her for that. What is not there - the ancient violins, each of which has its own story, one, I remember, was from the movie "Shadows of Forgotten Ancestors", there were those made in Poland and other European countries. There are trembitas, flutes, drums, cuckoos, cymbals and many other unusual musical instruments. There are also many household items - dishes, clothes, cradles, coins, books, photos and a bunch of other very interesting and valuable for our history. The identity is outrageous, I was delighted. And when they included a CD with his music in the car, which they bought there, the joy knew no bounds! By the way, everyone can play all the instruments - believe me, this is a rarity for the museum! Praise to this family and a low bow to the ground!

I think this is the best museum for musical instruments in those places. The author, who is the daughter of a man who was a master in his craft and was famous all over the world, tells very interestingly, she herself knows how to play 15 instruments and it is very good that she continues her father's work.
