INFORMWAR EASTERN FRONT (02/28/2021)
A wonderful and cozy museum of Hutsul life! Among the exhibits are traditional clothes and embroideries of 6 generations. Well, there is an opportunity to try to play the trembita!

Great atmospheric place. Learned a lot of interesting things. Fascinating story, interesting even for children. The opportunity to try on authentic costumes is just wonderful. Dinner is very tasty. The eldest daughter had a birthday - greetings and a cake really impressed the child. The whole family is delighted to visit the museum. I advise everyone who has the opportunity to find time and visit the museum.

Incredible tour, a story about the traditions of the Hutsuls, their daily life and holidays, a friendly hostess.

Outstanding and absolutely unique place. There're several rooms, individually decorated by the hostess-artist with local items like Carpathian lizhnyk (thick woollen blanket), ceramics and wooden furniture. A perfect combination of comfort and authenticity. Oksana the hostess is more than hospitable, welcoming and friendly: she's a true guide through local culture and interesting things to do in Verhovyna since she knows everyone and everyone knows her :) don't hesitate to follow her suggestions to visit small local museums, they are all super interesting. There're many walking routes nearby as well. A separate note must be dedicated to breakfasts and dinners daily prepared by Oksana and served in genuine Kosiv ceramic plates and bowls. Her meals were among our best gastro experiences of local food ever, much much better than in many cafes which tend to simplify lots of dishes and make it too fatty. Her secret I guess is simple: authentic recepies, fresh homemade food, honest and creative approach. What I personally loved is that there was a lot of veggies, salads and fresh local cheese. Be careful – portions are huge)) Our stay was a unique experience, we'd love to come here again in summer and wish Oksana all the best with developing her amazing place. Must visit in Verkhovyna! An interesting combination of a private museum and a visit to an authentic home. Pavlo-Paraskev's housewife, with the flair of a true local historian, tells about the history, traditions and modernity of the region (ask questions! She can really learn and understand a lot about this special region), shows a family collection of embroideries and clothes, explains patterns and traditions of dressing for the holidays , dresses you in the museum quality of old things for photography, twists girls' hats, plays the drum, treats them with tea and pastries, gives something to remember. time flies fast. As if going to a party)
