Well, here is what youth education and culture can be when a country cannot take action. The guides are great people, they can tell a complete and fascinating story about each exhibit, I would spend hours with them, but I’m not alone in the museum, so I couldn’t talk a lot. There are not enough guides, they are all already people of the older generation, what will happen when they leave? Almost all exhibits are made in the museum itself, or rather in the laboratory. The building itself is in good condition, a beautiful central snow-white staircase, cleanliness of the toilets, hot water in the tap I turn to all the unhappy schedule of visits. This museum, this is a building at the institute and is a training site, students study the material right near the shelves with exhibits, as well as lectures are held in the building. Therefore, the administration can not make free entry, say thank you for the opportunity to get there in general group. I was able to get there by accident, on an open day, which takes place once or twice a year (I’m really lucky, I had to kill time and decided to look for the nearest museum, but this is just such a day). Anyway, how can one complain when the entrance to such a museum is free.

I put one star because of the Soviets and the malice of this museum. Firstly: tourists cannot get there, only in large groups and then, for schoolchildren. Secondly: all the guides want to organize excursions for tourists there, and the collective of this museum resists (this is called "Sovdepiya and redneck" - they are used to sitting in the dust and not doing anything, and then running around the tourists all day). I would also ask a question about this museum of the Odessa Municipality, as Odessa citizens themselves cannot get there. In general, those who read these lines, do not hesitate, hollow the zoological museum and ask questions of the municipality. Maybe we can help these Odessa guides. And not the topic, about the Museum of Archeology - it works as it wants (the attitude of the museum staff, as in the zoological one, is rudeness). I hope the museum staff will read it, and someday their time will end and tourists will be able to get there.

Great museum !!! A lot of impressions! However, tours are conducted only for groups by prior arrangement.
