Columbia City Police Department

We had an emergency situation with our daughter and the police department and the officers who arrived on scene we're amazing. They are true life savers, we wanted to give a huge thank you to the officers who helped!

Had someone hit my car and not leave a note! So I called police and the cop T. Insgly or insly who came and immediately I could feel his vibe. I’ve never had to call the police or even been pulled over so this being my first experience it was pretty disappointing. He said probably more then 4 times that “in his 22 years experience that someone was driving the car when this happened and he has seen lots of accidents so he was more knowledgeable ” .Which wasn’t possible because I had the keys it was locked and hadn’t moved for 2 days and 2 nights because I was carpooling with someone else to a new job. But he wouldn’t listen. Then he said more 3 times “ I’d question the boyfriend he probably did it and didn’t tell you”. And even though it wasn’t possible because I had the keys to it, on the same keys to my apartment, with me at all times he just wouldn’t listen. Because “ in his 22 years of service that was his opinion”. So apparently in his 22 years experience he has been 100% correct in all events. Yeah right!

Racial profiling often occur in this department. T hodges refused to take a possible hate crime police reports. Police officials lie, they also lie on sworn affidavits to get an arrest warrants officer Chapman , hodges are known racist. Habitual rights and constitution violators. The chief of police turns his head, the mayor turns his head to the crimes committed by this police department. Public should know Whitley county is still a sundown town. If you're non white you have no respect nor rights.
