Tipton Police Department

Revised my rating. I was manipulated by a family member who portrayed herself as a victim. I was convinced the police werent doing their job. I believe they would have had they been given the truth of night in question. So....I apologize.

I would like to thank the Tipton county police department for their help on Sunday night during the storm. I am one of the ER doctors at Leighton Memorial Trauma Center, South Bend IN, and was trying to get back to South Bend in time for my shift. We were diverted from 31 North and got stranded on Rt 28 east of 31 around 10 PM Sunday. The officers were so kind and helpful. They had us stay warm in the car, while they arranged for a snow plough, and then personally dug us out. I don't know the names of the officers who helped us, but I will be forever grateful to them. My family and I thank them for their help under such extreme conditions.nThere were others who stopped and tried to tow us out. They were strangers, but stopped to help.nSincerelynRaji
