Arby's

Decided to try the beer battered fish today. The commercials, of course, make it look very good. I can't say I was terribly impressed. To me a good fish sandwich should have a delicate fish flavor and be light and flaky with a nice crisp batter.nWhat I got was a slightly limp filet with a pretty swampy fish flavor rather then a nice clean fish flavor. The fish was overly oily rather then being nice and flaky. The batter was somewhat crispy but not the airy crispness that a good beer batter should be. It wasn't what I would call terrible but I won't be getting it again.

The food is great. Prices are a bit higher than other fast food joints, but considering that you're getting real roast beef it's worth it. Service is fast, too, even with everything being driven through and carryout.

Drive thru had a short line but quick service UNTIL you pay the “fine dining” fees this establishment charges only to have them pull you to a curb and forget about you! It’s lunch hour for goodness sake but that does not mean I want to waste half of it waiting on my food! Very poor management to allow this kind of service...oh wait! Everyone is a “manager” of some sort!

Enjoy food here. I like their Reuben sandwich!

West Lafayette's Arby's is not one of the better ones I have eaten at. Service is fast & usually courteous but this place has not always had everything featured in Arby's national TV adds available. Today the curley fries were made well but have been greasy & soggy in the past. No knock on this location but Arby's sandwiches always look better in their TV ads than what you get in person. Today I had the smoked beef brisket. Meat was fine but mayo on a smoked beef brisket? Come on, man.
