Lafayette Sunnyside Intermediate School

I have had excellent communication with teachers and administration since I transferred my son there in 5th grade. The staff is extremely supportive of parental involvement and oversight of their own kids. In a previous school, I was treated as though parental values don't matter because the kids really belong to the collective. I always felt that my role and authority as parent was highly respected and Sunnyside, and several teachers and staff there have my respect and trust because of the relationships we built in collaboration.

I feel like thay could have done more

Great school. Teachers are understanding and will work with you. The dress code is simple and you can find the outfits anywhere. I wish the high school would implement the same dress code.

I go to this school. The dress code is stupid, it doesn't let kids show who they really are, and it doesn't prevent bullying like it was supposed to. I dont really mind the school too much but I honestly most likely wouldn't choose to go there if I could, if my friends weren't there.

I love this school!!!!! There are many teachers and councrlers that can help you if your having a rough day!!! People are very nice, and they love to help you with things to!! I recommend sending you children here!!
