I worked with Harlan to sell my house. He knows what improvements / small repairs need to be done to get a property to sell. His home valuation was spot on. The biggest thing he brings to the table is his advertising program and negotiation skills. After listing my house, I checked the main websites people use to browse (zillow, redfin, etc.) and my house had a significantly larger number of views / saves than comps in the area. Harlan's excellent negotiating skills also saved me thousands of dollars throughout the contract process after securing an offer. We had a great experience working with Harlan. Our process took a bit of time as we needed to restructure other property debt, work with commercial financing and get everything set. I had a terrific experience with Harlan. He worked hard to understand exactly what I was working for and listen to the concerns we had. We had to work remotely as we lived outside of Portland and Harland was very energetic and communicative. He did tours of a couple of houses for us and took pictures and videos to help us get a feel for them. He also answered a number of questions we had about different locations in detail and was very familiar with different neighborhoods. We were looking for a rental property and in the end purchase a wonderful duplex in a great neighborhood for favorable price.
