I love it because my wife teaches there - and she makes it fabulous!

This is our second year in the Spanish Immersion program at Scott School. Although I was hesitant to send my child to Scott, it has been a wonderful experience. It is a truly diverse school with a warm and welcoming community. Learning a second language is a gift that will serve our children throughout their lifetimes. Scott School teaches our children to be thoughtful and considerate global citizens.

Our son goes to Scott Elementary and has been absolutely thriving. This is due in part to the excellent teaching and environment in the school, they really emphasize respecting differences and understanding different cultures. English is a second (and third!) language for nearly half of the student population, it is a very global community. He is in the Spanish Immersion program and loving it, he is excited to go to school every single day. The parents are really involved and welcoming at the school too. There is a weekly parents meeting, an active Scott Community FB page, many families walk to school and/or stay after to play so you really get to know them. We feel very fortunate that Scott is our neighborhood school!

Scott School is our neighborhood school and we have had a fabulous experience with it. We currently have a 3rd grader and a 1st grader at Scott. Our 1st grader is in the Spanish immersion program is learning very quickly. For the most part every teacher is engaged and excited to be teaching and to be working at this school. There have been a lot of changes at the school in recent years for the better. Support your neighborhood school!
