Portland Police Bureau - Traffic Division

Just watched several long videos of examples where Portland police stand by on the sidelines while lawless, hateful protesters disrupt traffic, physically and verbally harass citizens, and attack cars on the streets.nnWhy does a police force openly allow violence and disruption like this to endanger its residents on a regular basis? It's not a situation where no one called the cops and the police are unaware of the incident; the cops are standing there, watching the illegal mayhem take place without making any arrests. They tacitly condone this illegal, violent behavior.nnThe Portland police regularly fails to do its fundamental job, which is to keep the peace. They earned the 1* and they deserve a lot more. Maybe some layoffs, maybe a new direction in terms of city leadership.nnReading some of the other reviews of the Traffic Division, it's no wonder such lawlessness is allowed to continue on the streets at the expense of the taxpayer. The Traffic Division's own phone number is listed incorrectly on Google. If the Portland Police Bureau's Traffic Division can't even get their own phone number right, how can you expect them to enforce road and traffic laws correctly? Jesus.nnBest of luck Portland.
