Very friendly helpful staff throughout the museum. There were great exhibits with plenty of information if you take the time to read it all. Plan for a half day at least if you thoroughly go through.
Small but interesting museum with very friendly staff. We were there today with my son's preschool class for a field trip to the kids' museum, which is mostly focused on pioneer life in the South Bend area. The entire area is filled with things to do and climb on and play with. Four stars instead of five because a lot of the accessories are missing, and the restrooms and drinking fountains could really use a few step stools to be accessible for small children.
It's a perfect place if you love history... the display wonderful pieces of art.. the change the collection during the year. I had a friend visiting from Mexico and it was perfect place for her she loves history.
Decent displays but kind of pricey.
I visited the Studebaker museum and learned quite a bit about the company. Lots of displays to observe with information signs.
