Rebuilt about 7 years ago. It is clean and easily accessible with plenty of free parking. You can enter at the Ogden Dunes exit off route 12. It has wheel chair ramps, buy no station house. CAUTION! The station is about 3 miles from the Portage business district -- not walking distance. You can only walk to Ogden Dunes, which has no business district.
All I have to say is WiFi is pretty much dead here but train fanatics can have a fun time here :) and the ride was clean, air conditioned and comfortable!
Super easy to park, and makes trips to Chicago easier.
Wifi has really fallen off but the ride is comfy and gets you right in to downtown Chicago. I use it several times a week.
