We have Phillips Ace hardware, menards, home Depot and Lowe's near our home. When we need the highest quality materials and knowledge we always go to Phillips Ace hardware. They're also wonderful at Christmas time with their Swarovski selection for my wife.
Being business neighbors and shopping for our business and personal needs, our experience at Phillip’s Ace Hardware is always a five star experience! The store ownership and staff consistently offer superior customer service and a great willingness to go above and beyond to please their customers!!!! We shop here very regularly and always prefer to shop here, whenever possible! There are not many businesses that can compare to this high level of customer service! The selection in store is also very extensive!!!! Love this store and their team!
I always feel like I'm stepping a bit into the past in here, but in a great way. They are always well staffed with knowledgeable people. Yes you may be able to get 25 screws cheaper at a big box store, but you won't get the help you need, nor the quality of merchandise. Ace tends to carry things that help you fix what needs to be fixed, but only 1 time instead of over and over because of product failure. I am willing to spend a little more to get the help I need finding the right fix the first time.
I always find excellent service at Ace Hardware in Valparaiso. Very helpful and knowledgeable people, and it is the place to go to find quality products, and hard to find items at a fair price. I purchased a grill there during these difficult stay- at-home times. They made it easy to order over the phone, then assemble and deliver within a few days.
