Way easier than trudging out to the big guys and they have a fantastic amount of items packed into an old school hardware store. They just expanded the garden section, too.nnI'd say they have what I need about 90% of the time, which I consider really good. Also, you're way more likely to get help here from staff.
They don't have everything. They dont have the best prices. But it's local convenient and friendly. Old school.
I just moved to the area three weeks ago and have been to this store 8-10 times now, because my new home needs lots of work. I have entertained the thought almost every time to go to my old neighborhood where the people that worked at the store were friendly/helpful. I don't know much about tools and how to do things, so I have a tendency to ask questions and need more help than most people that go to a hardware store. I've given this store plenty of chances to do better and am bummed that this hardware store is in my neighborhood. I only decided to write this review, because my husband came home from work and said the same sentiments to me so I know it isn't just me that feels this way.
We went to get some epoxy for a project. Currently customers wait outside and the items are brought out to them by employees. Thank you to the young man that went back and forth 3 times trying to find what we needed.They did not have the right epoxy, but we really appreciate the patience and support provided. They have the BEST selection of bolts, nuts, washers, and screws, etc. I love that most of the time I can buy just what I need, and not a pre-packaged set.
