ACE Hardware had the 'locking vice-grip' I was in the market for. It is 'the tried & true' greats.
These folks were so helpful. Evan, Victor, Tyler, and another taller guy with curly hair all helped me find the right parts and tools I needed to fix my car. I worked on my car in the lot and they asked me if I needed any help and even let me borrow a few tools to get the job done. Thanks so much all at ace on broadway for helping me out and being so friendly while doing so!
Nice store. Good size parking lot.nHowever did not have the key I needed so if looking to duplicate key, call ahead to sure the have your key type.
This is an Ace Hardware Store. An easy to miss local resource. I dropped my car off at the Toyota dealer for service and had an hour to wait so I went for a walk. I discovered this Ace Hardware that I had driven by hundreds of times. Here is a big clean well stocked Hardware store with a friendly staff and even a parking lot on Wiedler. I returned to this Ace hardware for a bolt that would fit in my bicycle chain break. Instead I bought a new chain breaker (a tool for fixing bicycle chains) . Mine was over 30 years old, and missing a part. A great hardware store.
I stop by here about once a week for business supplies and the employees are always very helpful. You never have to hunt someone down to ask a question. Checking out with the cashier is a little on the slow side since they wipe everything down after EVERY transaction, but I don't mind waiting. I wish other stores would at least offer this cleaning service as an option.
