Ben's Soft Pretzels

The Kendallville location needs a lot of training! I bought 2 chicken bacon ranch pockets today with many issues. 1, they were small in size and round, not longer like they should be, 2, they were burnt on the bottom yet very light on top and 3, thick dough in the middle bottom was not cooked at all!! They were so flimsy they could not be held. Ingredients were not balanced, as they did not taste or look anything like in Shipshewana and had to be taken back to the store. Very disappointed, as this item is a favorite. Also.. The case was empty and other people asked for pretzels. The employee said it would be 8-10 minutes then just stood there waiting on the oven for our pockets instead of making the other pretzels that could have been sold. People walked away. They need to keep up with demand.nWe have had issues in the past at this location also with no pretzels available, the pretzels were small and dense, or they were cleaning and closing earlier than designated on the sign. We went a few weeks ago and got there a few minutes before closing and there were actually pretzels in the case but the kid looked at us and said he closed the register already and watched him pick up the pretzels and throw them in the trash. My 4 year old grandson cried that his pretzel was thrown away instead of them actually making a sale. The kid laughed and said come back tomorrow. What a joke! They need to hire more than careless kids!nThis is a franchise location and corporate needs to take more advice from the originals or it won't make it much longer. And it seems you can't even call anyone to complain, as the phone number listed for this location didn't work.nI've been to multiple locations and have had issues at a few, but today in Kendallville was the absolute worst!!

Lady working was rude, rolling her eyes. Pretzel dog was hard and stale.

Very disappointed with your store at the Kendallville Walmart. Just bought Buggy Bites and they where burnt and cold. In the past when I got them at this location they have been good but not tonight.

So, when your home office calls their manager and says don’t worry and tells that manager it was funny and that said manager publishes it.nNOT A PLACE THAT I WANT TO FREQUENT!

They have some of the best tasting pretzels I've ever tasted. You will pay a bit more for them though.
