Rotary Jail Museum

I drove over an hour to get here. I checked the website to make sure they aren’t closed today and it said they are open. So I got here at 1:30 and saw this. So I waited until 2 and nobody showed up. I went to the other side of the building and it said they are here but next door working on a project and to call and somebody will be right over. So I was excited that the trip wasn’t a waste. Tried calling a few times. Nobody answered. Voicemail straight to Beth. Wasted my time and an hours worth of driving just because they don’t wanna put up the right information or the people there decided to take off for the day. Dont bother coming here unless you want to risk wasting your time.

Great place to see! The employees are super knowledgeable and answered all our questions. I would love to have a full guided tour some day. Definitely worth the trip!

Interesting and pretty cool. Good quick stop. Building needs some work done, so donate, donate, donate. Staff is super friendly.

Awesome place! Tour guide was awesome. He was very friendly and knowledgeable on the history of the jail. I’ve never seen anything like it and definitely suggest going for a visit.

Awesome place to visit if you like cool historical places. The building is an old house and the inside turns on a rotation device and gears.
