These police officers first need to go through a program of how to actually talk to people that they are supposed to protect and serve secondly they think to highly of themselves they think since they have a badge that they can treat any and everyone as of they are lower than them. should make no stars an option
My debt card was stolen at a bank in Merrillville, IN. I was told by all authorities and the bank that I was to report this to their police station. Which is exactly what I did. I was also told I would receive a police report copy. This was in October. It is now January, and I still sit waiting for my copy. My report was never filed. It was not taken seriously. Theft is a huge problem, and it is absolutely terrifying. So this person, whoever they may be, got away with this apparently. So congratulations to you. I support police 100% but the simple fact that my situation was swept under the rug is not okay.
Thank you for going above and beyond. I don't know the officer's names, but I want to thank them for driving me home, making sure I was safe. I don't know what could have happened that night, thank you for protecting me and children.
Had an interaction with them today. I just got the vibe that they didn't care. The female cop was okay. The male cop especially seemed like he couldn't care less. I mean they were on the clock, weren't they? I hate to prejudge police officers, because they aren't all bad. But there are those who are terrible, or those who are nonchalant, like the ones today. That's why most people are reluctant to go to them for help.
As most people identify you will likely not get much help from this police department unless it’s something major to them. Its disappointing on the “protect and serve” as you are likely on your own.,
