I've never had issues with the department. They're always respectful, and have never made me feel as if I was persecuted for any reason. Some officers I've spoken with also have good senses of humor. Ignore the negative reviews. They're all people have need to feel superior to anyone they can. Inferiority complexes galore.
I was physically assaulted and officers did nothing to help. They took information from the person who called but never interviewed me and did not get any information nor were any arrests made. The person who assaulted me got off the hook without consequences thanks to the officers lack of duty. I am now looking into taking legal action against the department.
I got a ticket for parking my semi at la fitness near i294 in town, the folks at la fitness let me park in their lot. The lot is split with an abandoned building next door. Lot had many semis parking, no noticeable NO Parking signs. I walked around the whole huge lot saw a tiny sign that said no trailers. There is no clear marking where la fitness property ends and where the abandoned building property starts. Called the police department to explain the unfair situation, they said send violation payment by mail.nNice way of getting money for your municipality from hard working people. Good job!nLllots around big highways in the country are clearly marked with big signs where no parking is allowed.
Waited at the front desk directly next to the records window-received no assistance at all. Heading to Chicago police department to give me direction on filing a report.
While waiting for my order to be completed the cook dropped a entire container of chicken. He picked up the chicken and placed it back into the container. Per the cook he won’t throw it away once the chicken is cooked it will kill the germs.
