Ace is the place....
Friendly staff
Something about Gus Bucks. And Ace's in general make you feel like you can always find help. Every 5 minutes someone asking if you need help even though you just told someone you didn't. Ace is the place with the helpful hardware folks
I love the mom-and-pop feel of this hardware store. The staff is super-helpful and friendly.nnPrior to this month, I had never been to this Ace Hardware store before. I went on the recommendation of my neighbor, after the window screens of my home were damaged in a hail storm. The mesh of the screens had numerous tears and holes. My neighbor had similar hail damage done to the window screens at his house, and he took his screens to Ace for repair. They did a great job on his, so I figured I would take mine.nnAce did a great job with my screens. They replaced the mesh with a stronger material called a pet screen. They repaired 8 screens for about $170. Had I opted for the mesh to be replaced with the lower-quality material the manufacturer made the screen with, my bill would have been significantly less than $170. I like quality, so I was happy to pay more.
