Thank you officer McDowell for going out of your way. He found my daughter's phone in the road and eventually found her to returnnit to her. We are so appreciative of those that serve and protect.
Pretty nice officers, they all seemed well informed about our rights and respect them but what kills me is when I see 2-3 cedar lake cops sitting at family Express in saint John. I understand you all get breaks since you are humans too but it seems like its becoming a habit. What worries me If there is a serious call in cedar Lake and we need our cops but their sitting in saint John in a gas station. Please stay in your town when ur on shift and running on our tax dollars not saint John. If I keep seeing this I will make a complaint. Just go to Casey's like you all usually do and godforbid someone has an emergency then you could actually respond in a reasonable time. I feel like just because that gas station has more to offer and the saint John cops go there all the time cedar lake thinks it's fine to go out of town and just hang out on the clock. BIG nono.
hands down thee best officers. very respectful and ALWAYS willing to help, they always go the extra mile to help. We need alot of other cities to follow that path. SHOUTOUT TO Officer Stickle and Officer Allande!!!!nhands down! amazing officers!!!!!!
CLPD does a great job. People tend to drive very fast through our subdivision and there are lots of kids, so for a whole afternoon, not one but two officers came and sat in different culdesacs within the subdivision to help correct the problem. It really helped and the residents with kids really appreciated it. Another time, someone in our neighborhood witnessed someone trying to get into cars. CLPD increased patrols in our subdivision. Our subdivision's Facebook page has shown considerable positive feedback about their commitment to keeping the residents in our subdivision safe.
