A patrol officer of the Salem Police Department contacted me last night (01.11.2020) at about 9:50 pm near the Roth's at Sunnyslope Shopping Center - and reminded me that I left the shopping center without turn on my headlights (accessory lights activated only). He was courteous and professional. I am a big fan of the Salem Police Department and appreciate their service to our community. My neighbors and I appreciate their community updates posted on Social Media - Nextdoor website. ******FIVE STARS******

Absolutely useless Department. I told my story to the police officer when I had reported my tragedy, she distorted my story and omitted many significant details which made my story such as I was not victim but cooperative person to scammer. Shame on them! Don't even bother filing a police report, because no matter what happens to any of your belongings or auto damage they won't do anything about it! Fed up with the POLICE DEPARTMENT.

Apparently... The law exempt status when drinking whiteclaw. Doesn't fly. After diversion classes, jail, and getting another stolen1990 Honda Accord to fill with samurai swords. I'll be back on track! Thank-you Salem!

Office Baker has to be the most unprofessional officer I have ever encountered. He not only gives Salem Police Department a bad name he gives Police Officers everywhere a bad name. Officer Baker needs more training on people skills and communication.

Never in a million years would I have thought to post this, but Salem PD is the worst to go to especially when it consists of a violent minor, we called at least five times and just when we thought we had enough evidence against him, THERE ARE NO POLICE REPORTS! Salem PD said you can go to juvenile detention for help but they said unless there’s a police report we can’t do anything, Salem PD is also horrible when it comes interviewing and translating!
