My dog was taken from my yard Last week and the person who had him was trying to scam me into giving them money. I can’t remember the officers name, but I talked to him and he had it handled in no time. I appreciate the officer and everything he did to make sure my pup made it home safely. A lot of officers wouldn’t take the time to handle a pet situation but this one gladly did and my family is very appreciative!nnThank you LPD for keeping our town safe! Your hard work and dedication does not go unseen.

I live in lapel and went to Waffle House in early morning to find the only lapel officer on duty there for 30+ minutes not my problem but the police car was running using my tax dollars I don’t appreciate my tax dollars being used to let the car run outside of city limits to eat with family

It's a difficult time to be a Police Officer, but the Lapel Police Department has always interacted with me with integrity and politeness and they have always been available to assist me when needed. Thank you Lapel Police Department!
