Carmel Elementary School

My son attends this school while me and my wife have been volunteering for the Media Center. I am proud for my sons progress and grateful to his teachers and the staff. They have been very helpful and professional.

Really, Really, REALLY Outstanding Elementary School ---top notch all around. You also have the amazing carmel public library across the street with giant kids section and constant activities. Parents are really involved here, teachers all are top notch and enthusiastic, amazing playground for kids, technology in place for parents etc..etc.....honestly this is one of the very best run schools I have seen.nnThe Principal and her staff are very involved and available always if your need them, all the school kids here are really nice kids and the atmosphere is just all around positive which elementary should be.nnFor my daughter and I to have such an amazing public school a few blocks from our home in old town carmel where we can bike/walk to school daily - ( which a lot of the parents here do which is awesome too) is something to me - which growing up in a large city we only saw happen in movies - I don't think any kids actually walked to school come to think of it - but thats Miami Fl for you.... The After school care is amazing and well run and is about 1/8 price of montessori or similar preschools/after-cares.nnIf Michelin had an elementary school guide book - then 2018 Carmel Elementary School would be 3 stars - because they do everything honestly very very good. If you can - send your kids to Carmel Elementary.

Rude principal. They pick favorites and will rule out those who are not their favorite. Some nice teachers.

Carmel Elementary School is excellent! Principal is awesome as are all of the teachers!

Such a warm friendly feeling and u can see the staff really cares!
