Absolutely thrilled with this salon! Christine Hill is amazing. She was so engaging and a ton of fun while being the best professional stylist I have had in over a decade. I would recommend her and the salon to everyone.

Unfortunately I have had not one, but 2 color mishaps here. The first time it was messed up the stylist agreed to smudge out my roots and give me more of what I asked for (after multiple text messages and a call to the main line). I don't have pictures of my first coloring but after she fixed it I loved it.nnThe second time I got my color done by her it was once again not what I asked for. I sent her pictures. I asked her to fix it, she did not reply. After a few days I ended up asking for a partial refund because I had to go elsewhere to get my hair fixed and the whole process really ruined my hair. She did not reply.nIt was a pretty hair color but not what I asked OR paid for. Attached is the red hair I ASKED for and the more maroon brown I received (my hair was heavily blonde prior so there should not have been a issue with getting the color I asked for and if it was an issue I should have been told so). I would have continued to got to this salon if things were dealt with properly. I am saddened because I really do love the atmosphere and the cuts I would get but the hair color and lack of communication this time really did this salon in for me.

Christine is absolutely AMAZING! She and everyone at salon Argent are so friendly and down to earth. My hair was damaged due to box dye and frying my hair trying to get it blonde from black hair. I have never had anyone get it to be this perfect! ( usually it would turn orange or not take at all ) I will never ever go to anyone else! She is great!

Since I recently moved to Salem, I needed to find a good hairdresser. After calling different places, getting no answer, leaving messages, never getting a return call or the one time I did speak to someone only to find out that haircuts were $80.00 to $150.00! (Outrageous) I called Salon Argent and actually spoke to a person - Christine, I explained what I wanted and she was kind enough to listen and answer my questions. I scheduled my appointment with her and when I went in I was not disappointed! She asked questions, I showed her the pictures of my haircut with my previous hairdresser and she went from there. I was very happy with the whole experience, Christine made me feel welcomed and I felt that my satisfaction was important to her. Plus I thought the price ($40.00) was very reasonable. Overall I would highly recommend the salon, but especially Christine.
