In the late 70’s and early 80’s, I bought the bulk of my materials from Lester Sales. Jim was always helpful as was Marsha and Arnie. Jim was a wizard at fixing Senco tools. Though I expect Marsha’s mom has long since retired, she was invaluable in keeping me appraised of my account.nnA very appreciated aspect of their business was the hardware section. Unlike most lumber yards who display and stock based on how much mark up they can get away with, Lester Sales stocked items that were useful and wanted.nnA business doesn’t stay in business for almost half a century unless they’re doing a lot of things right.nnGreat to see them still going strong.nnEric S.
